RESILIENCE SATELLE
the graphic poem

A high quality, Portuguese, 10 minutes cgi short animation
about people resilience when dealing with life limitations.

Resilience Satelle stands for "follower of one ability to overcome limitations".

Moget and Noam are two kids living in  two separated towns of Mushroom Island. Both of them  fell unhappy. Noam  is  armless, so he fells that could do so much more if he actually had arms and Moget lives isolated and fells he would be so much happy if he had a friend to play.
One day both of them see a shotting star (Shar) and wish to be happier. Shar sensed the wish and decided to put the stones rolling to see if both of them could learn how to overcome limitations and find out by themselves how to be happy.

This project started in late 2009 and is yet to be concluded.
Having very few resources and a lot of limitations we try by all means possible to keep the gears running. Although been helped by a small team of volunteered contributers, over the Internet, most of the work is being done by Resilience Satelle author Rogério Perdiz.

Rogério is an Open source enthusiast, self thought and becoming tired of seeing a very similar formula on most of the movies he  decided  to  push  the envelope and deliver more original content in a more original way while still keeping it entertaining and visually appealing.

Usually this kind of projects are very expensive. By using free and open source software (F/LOSS) we save a substantial amount of money, everyone on the world can join in  and  we believe that is still possible to achieve a very high quality  end result never the less.

At the moment  Resilience Satelle is been funded by is author and a hand full of  independent sponsors and volunteers (more info about them on the team and sponsors page).

To prove that even in the worst case scenario all that one needs to achieve great things is resilience and work.
